The Barbara Ann is a 35′ Carolina Classic Express, powered by twin Volvo Penta diesels for a cruising speed of 22 knots. Your deep sea fishing charter or nearshore charter fishing experience offers a comfortable and dry ride on the helm deck. There’s a roomy cabin below with air conditioning and porcelain marine head (toilet). Have a bathroom on board a fishing charter is a huge plus. She’s equipped with all the necessary safety gear including an offshore life raft for peace of mind. She has a large cockpit for a boat of her size with a fighting chair, tuna door, and 2 huge insulated fish boxes to make sure your catch arrives at the dock in optimum condition.

Barbara Ann is outfitted with Penn, Shimano, and Avet reels and rods in the 20, 30, 50 and 80lb classes. Along with all the tackle, teasers, and lures to get the job done. There is an assortment of conventional and spinning rods and reels for bottom fishing from Quantum, Avet and Shimano. Your private fishing charter with Captain David will give you the best chance at catching a dream trophy fish with our premium gear.
The near-shore trips can be tailored to meet your specific needs and are generally determined by the target species desired and of course the time of year, but depending on the time of year we can for instance combine trolling for spanish mackerel, blue fish, and Bonita with bottom fishing for Black Sea bass, snapper, amber jack and trigger fish.
Our Deep Sea Fishing Charters are an adventure near the Gulf Stream, which opens us up to fish some of the elusive sportfishing species. We can make that happen!
