Off-shore trips are all-day 10-12 hours where we venture out for some good old fashioned deep sea fishing. We’ll target Mahi Mahi(dolphin), Ono (wahoo), Black and Yellowfin . The Morehead City, NC fishing charter boat leaves at 5am and returns by 5pm. We travel out to 20-30 fathoms (the inner edge of the Gulf Stream) to begin fishing over the lumps, ledges and wrecks. Then we are on out to the 100-fathom curve, the Big Rock structures and sometimes beyond traveling 100-200 nautical miles during our quest to fill our fish boxes.
